Challenge

Ice dams are a common sign of roofing system damage.  This homeowner provided images of ice dams on his roof from the previous winter.  Our roofing experts discovered many area of damage to the roof and gutter system.  Due to the roof age and wear and tear, the homeowner made the decision to replace the roof and gutter system.

Solution

Our expert roofing crew removed existing shingles and repaired the roof deck where needed.  New flashing was installed at all roof/wall intersections and around two chimneys.  Our crew also installed Shingle Vent II ridge vent with External baffle and edge vent for proper ventilation.  Seven can vents were removed to ensure proper ventilation.  They removed and replaced the window pan and installed mod bid to the surface.  Waterproof underlayment was installed followed by CertainTeed Landmark Pro in Weathered Wood.

New gutters and down spouts were installed along with gutter topper to complete the roofing project.
