Challenge Ice dams are a common sign of roofing system damage.  This homeowner provided images of ice dams on his roof from the previous winter.  Our roofing experts discovered many area of damage to the roof and gutter system.

Challenge The customer had had several contractors take a look at his siding but no one seemed to be able to correct the problem.   Solution Our consultant actually got up on the roof and did a complete inspection, carefully checking for any areas that may be causing leaks.

Challenge Home built in 1979 - roof leaking on backside of home in kitchen and garage area-roof age was 2-5 years old. Upon evaluation by our technician, it was discovered that one side of the ridge was missing 5 to 6 inches of decking which allowed water to get in.

The underlayment, though not often seen, is a very important part of the roofing system.  It prevents water from seeping underneath the shingles.  It's installed right on top of the decking and serves as an extra layer of protection from the elements.
